About the course
The PADI Scuba Diver course is a good way into the underwater world. It is for people who want to dive safely without doing the full Open Water Diver course just yet, and it lets you dive under professional supervision to a depth of 12 meters (40 feet).
It suits travelers, adventure seekers and anyone curious about scuba diving, especially if you’re planning a short holiday in Lakshadweep or another tropical dive destination.
It is also an easy way to start scuba diving in India, and Lakshadweep has some of the most unspoilt reefs in the country.
What will you learn?
Complete 3 knowledge development sessions included in your PADI eLearning. You’ll watch the embedded videos and complete knowledge reviews with quizzes at the end of each chapter. This course is a subset of the PADI Open Water Diver course and includes:
- Basics of scuba diving principles and techniques
- Confined water sessions to develop essential scuba skills
- Open water dives to practice skills and explore the underwater world
- Safety procedures, underwater communication, and buoyancy control

- Learn in the crystal-clear water of Lakshadweep, one of the best places to dive in India.
- Get personalized attention with low student-to-instructor ratios.
- Dive with modern, well-maintained equipment included in your course.
- We handle the arrangements, so you can just show up and dive.
