About the course
The PADI Divemaster course at Lak Scuba is the start of a career in scuba diving. It runs in the Lakshadweep Islands and combines training, real work on real dives and personal mentoring, and it makes you a confident, capable dive professional.
Whether you want to work at a dive center, lead dives, or go on to become a PADI Instructor, this certification is recognized worldwide and is your first step into professional diving.
You move on from diving for fun to guiding and supervising other divers, and keeping every dive safe and enjoyable.
What you’ll learn
On the course you build your diving knowledge, your skills and your hands-on experience. You’ll:
- Refine your diving techniques to demonstration level
- Learn to assess dive site conditions and manage logistics
- Assist in Discover Scuba Diving and PADI certification courses
- Conduct briefings, site mapping, and dive supervision
- Practice search and recovery, rescue techniques, and emergency management
- Study dive physics, physiology, decompression theory, equipment, and environment
- Develop leadership, judgment, and decision-making skills under real conditions
Entry requirements
To enroll in the PADI Divemaster course, you must:
If you don’t meet all the requirements yet, we offer Rescue, EFR and Divemaster training as one package so you can qualify along the way.
- Be 18 years or older
- Be a certified PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and PADI Rescue Diver
- Hold a valid EFR certification (CPR & First Aid) within the last 24 months
- Have 40 logged dives to start the course and 60 dives to certify
- Submit a medical clearance signed by a physician within the past 12 months
